I'm Jenn and I get my teach on right here in the heartland.  So...who am I?   Who am I?

• A farm girl who now lives in town, who finds many things "Pin-worthy," and will probably accomplish a fraction of a FRACTION of said pins.  

Oh.  You were probably wondering who I am as a TEACHER!  Let's try again...

Fourteen years ago, I taught K-6 SPED for four years.  I learned a TON and I mean a TON.   Then, I was livin' the dream and kickin' it Kindergarten style for two years.  I could've taught Kindergarten FOR.EV.ER.  Loved it!  But alas....we moved...

Thus, my stint as a looping teacher began.  It was a 1st/2nd grade loop and six of the BEST.  YEARS.  EVER!  I learned a TON and I mean a TON!  That place really shaped me educationally.  But....we moved again!

So...last year, I had to grow up a little bit and teach the BIGS.  5th grade.  And you know what?  They're just not.  that.  different.  (But don't tell 'em I said that!)

Which brings me to these past two years, where I'm teaching and learning...3rd grade style!

I've learned 

• In 15 years
• In three districts 
• With 11 superintendents (for reals,)  
• At six schools
• With eight principals
• In nine different classrooms (um....i've never really THOUGHT about it like that...WOW!)  
• That I.  teach.  kids. (And apparently, love bullets!)

While some may say "I teach kindergarten," or I'm a 4th grade teacher," that's just not my style.  While I never intended to be all over the place, ironically, it's SOOOooo who I am!
